Privacy Policy

This is my own private, personal blog. I don’t collect personally identifying information, aside from giving you the option to subscribe to blog posts via email, which you can either choose to do, or not.

If you choose to comment on my blog posts, the commenting system (currently the Disqus plugin but that is subject to change) may or may not record your name, email, IP address, or other information in order to allow you to comment. It might also make you look bad, depending on whether your comment makes any sense or not, but that’s out of my control.

I do use some analytical tools (such as Google Analytics and others) to track the website’s effectiveness, and those programs may have their own privacy policy. For example, here is Google’s:

“Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to your website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings. (Alternatively, you can direct users to opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.)”

  • This website may or may not use other tracking scripts from time to time and they might have their own policies as well, but I can’t be held liable or responsible for those.
  • This privacy policy may change from time to time without notice.
